Chapter 7: Fire Prevention and Fire Protection (Hollidaysburg, PA)

Part 1: Fire Prevention Code

    • Smoke detectors are required in dwelling units.
    • Detectors are required for separate sleeping areas.
    • Placement rules and power source/detection type specifications are mandated.
  • Responsibilities:
    • Owners have specific responsibilities regarding detector maintenance and compliance.
    • A timeframe for compliance is established.
  • Other Provisions:
