The City of Altoona is home to parks, recreation facilities/community centers, tennis courts, one pickleball court, one swimming pool and one spray park. The maintenance and funding of these facilities is a combined effort of Central Blair Recreation and Parks Commission (CBRC), the City of Altoona, the Altoona Area School District, and Logan Township. There is year-round programming provided by Central Blair Recreation and Parks Commission and this information is available at http://www. cbrcparks. org/ and on their Facebook page.
