Attention City of Altoona ResidentsThe City of Altoona does their own licensing. If you live in the city itself and not in a township or borough, you must get your dog license through the Codes Office in City Hall located in downtown Altoona. The Treasurer's Office cannot issue licenses to residents of the city. In the Commonwealth of Pa dogs 3 months or older must be licensed. This can be done with either a Yearly or Lifetime Dog License. Yearly License - $6. 50 if spayed or neutered, $8. 50 if notTo obtain an annual license, you can:Come into our office and fill out an application (no other information is needed)Print, complete, and sign the Annual Dog Application and mail it in along with payment. Order online at padoglicense. com. Then we will mail out your tag as soon as possible. There is an additional fee of $2. 00 to use this service.
