Meeting Overview

The Williamsburg Borough Council held its regular meeting on Monday, November 3, 2025. The session began at 7:00 p. m. , called to order by Ed Patterson, and concluded with an adjournment motion at 7:38 p. m.

Attendance

• Council Members Present: Dakota Biddle, Paula Hamilton, Bruce Hamilton, Jim Price, Mathew Webb, Ed Patterson, and Ted Hyle.
• Others Present: Myranda Isenberg, Natalie Gorsuch, Adam Hauser, Maggie Merritts, Alana Isenberg, and Brad Claycomb.

Key Decisions & Motions

• Minutes: The minutes from the October 2025 regular meeting were approved.
• Financials: The Treasurer’s Report for October was approved, and bills were ratified in accordance with Resolution #2018-2.
• Budget: A motion was passed to advertise the 2026 budget, which includes a $2/hr pay increase for borough employees and no tax increase.
• DCNR Master Site Plan: Resolution 2025-6 was adopted to approve the DCNR master site plan.
• Catharine Township Lease: A motion was carried to sign a joinder approval allowing Catharine Township to join the lease agreement.

Reports & Updates

• Police: Chief Hauser clarified that victims must report incidents directly to the borough police. Residents are encouraged to call 911 if no officer is on duty and should not drive around looking for an officer.
• Borough Manager: The SCCBA meeting is scheduled for December 3, 2025, at Marzoni’s. Council members wishing to attend must notify Myranda before November 21st.
• Personnel: The position of School Resource Officer remains open; interested candidates must have the same clearances as police officers.
• Liquor License: Brad Claycomb expressed interest in opening a liquor distillery. The council decided to wait a month and consult with the solicitor regarding ordinances before proceeding.

Upcoming Events

• Veteran’s Day Service: Sunday, November 9th at 10:30 a. m. at Grace Pointe Community Church, followed by a meal at the Community Center.
• Christmas Parade: Saturday, December 6th at 4:30 p. m. (Rain date: Sunday, December 7th).
