  • Approval of Minutes: Review of the July 9, 2026 Regular Council Meeting minutes.
  • Swearing-in Ceremony: Officer Noah Deremer will be sworn in by Mayor Chad Repko and Chief of Police Richard Oldham.

Public Hearings

  • Ordinance 920: A public hearing regarding the amendment of Chapter 15 to allow for electronic payment of metered parking fees in the downtown business district.
  • Ordinance 921: A public hearing for the rezoning of property on the 800 block of Amelia Street from R-2 (General Residential) to C-3 (Highway Commercial).

  • Just Park Contract: Recommendation to enter a three-year contract with Just Park for electronic parking meter fees and violation fines.
  • Vacant Property Ordinance: Presentation of the final draft prepared by the Blight Committee.
  • Ordinance 921 (Amelia Street Rezoning): Review of the petition submitted by the Replogle family to rezone their property from residential to commercial.

New Business

  • Shade Tree Commission Appointment: Recommendation to appoint John Whitlock to fill the vacancy left by Mayor Repko.
  • Resolution 2026-28 (Parking Rates): Recommendation to increase the metered parking rate from $0. 50 to $1. 00 per hour and set the parking ticket fine at $20. 00.
  • Speed Limits: Discussion requested by Councilman Leahey.
