Lead Free Plumbing Construction Certificate

This document is a certification form issued by The Borough of Hollidaysburg, PA, required under the Pennsylvania Plumbing System Lead Ban and Notification Act of July 1989. It certifies that plumbing systems connected to the public water supply in Hollidaysburg comply with lead-free material requirements.

    • Relationship to property owner (e.g., owner, builder, contractor, plumber)

Legal Compliance Statement

The form includes a legal declaration stating that:

  • Materials banned under the 1989 Act include:
    • Lead pipe
    • Brass fittings with >8% lead
    • Solder with >0.2% lead (solid or acid core)
    • Flux with >0.2% lead
  • Use of these materials or falsifying this certificate violates state law and may result in penalties.
