Judicial Tax Sale & Registration Registration Deadline: June 5, 2026. No registrations accepted after 4:00 PM on this date. Registration Requirements: Forms are available on the website and must be returned in person to the Tax Claim Office with a copy of photo ID and $25. Sale Date: Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at 9:00 AM. Location: Blair County Courthouse, Hollidaysburg PA. Check-in: 8:00 AM to 8:50 AM. Office Closure: The Tax Claim Office will be closed until 1:00 PM on the day of the sale. Property Removal & Payoffs Deadline to Remove Property: June 16, 2026, by 4:00 PM. Payment Methods: Certified funds only (Cash, Certified Check, or Money Order). Action Required: Owners must call the Tax Claim Office to get the exact payoff amount. Upset Sale & Newspaper Ads Deadline to Avoid Listing: June 30, 2026. This applies to homeowners with two (2) or more years of delinquent property taxes. Ad Details: The list will be submitted the first week of July and run in the Altoona Mirror , The Tyrone Daily Herald , and the Legal Bulletin in August. Irrevocable List: Once the ad list has been submitted, it cannot be changed. Fee: $150. 00 per property associated with the ad. Posting Notices Start Date: June 2026. Scope: Notices will be printed for unsigned/returned Notices of Return & Claims (sent in March) and all properties going to the Upset Sale in September. Fees: $30. 00 per notice for printing, plus $60. 00 for personal service to owner-occupied properties. Policy: Once the posting company begins, properties cannot be removed from the list. Courthouse Holidays Juneteenth Day: Observed Friday, June 19, 2026. General Information Results: Results from the Judicial Sale will be posted on the website.
