Overview
The Borough of Hollidaysburg, Blair County, Pennsylvania, adopted Resolution No. 2024-44 on December 12, 2024, establishing the official Schedule of Fees and Charges for calendar year 2025. The resolution was signed by Council President Sean Burke and attested by Secretary Patricia J. Duron.
Administration Fees
- Photocopies:
- 8-1/2 x 11 and smaller, single-sided: $0.25 per page
- 8-1/2 x 11 and smaller, duplex (both sides): $0.40 per page
- All other sizes: $0.30 per page
- Mileage Reimbursement: For use of personal auto — charged at the current IRS rate.
Business Licenses
- Pool Room License: $200.00
- Theaters License: $200.00
- Jukebox: $75.00 per machine
- Pool Table: $50.00 per table
- Video, Skill or Mechanical Amusement Devices:
- Non-Paying Devices: $100 per machine
- Gambling and Skill Devices (Paying): $150 per machine
- Transient Business License:
- One day: $75.00
- Thirty consecutive days: $150.00
- One year: $500.00
- Special Events (non-profit may be exempt): $10.00/event
- Second Hand Dealers: $25.00 annually
Fire Department Services
Charges apply for apparatus deployment based on duration:
- Structure Fires, Brush Fires, Motor Vehicle Incidents:
- $150.00 per piece of apparatus for the first 4 hours
- +$75.00 for each additional portion of an hour after 4 hours
- Additional costs:
- Absorbents: $35.00 per bag
- Other disposal products: $40.00 per box
Motor Vehicles & Traffic
- Handicapped Parking Permit – First Time Fee: $100.00
- Handicapped Parking Permit - Renewal: $75.00
- Transfer Handicapped Parking Permit: $45.00
- Accident Reports: $15.00
- Initial Motor Vehicle Storage Permit: $50.00
- Annual Motor Storage Permit Renewal: $25.00
- Parking Meter Rates:
- 6 minutes for (1) nickel
- 12 minutes for (1) dime
- 30 minutes for (1) quarter
Residential Permit Parking Fee Schedule
Application & Eligibility
- Fee per household/dwelling unit on affected blockface: $60.00/du (max $650.00 total for all units on blockface)
- Refund if area determined ineligible: $35.00/du
Residential Special Exception Parking Fees
- Application fee if eligibility study required: $350.00
- Application fee if no study required: $100.00
Annual Permit Fees (per vehicle)
- Permanent Residential Parking District Permit – First time: $100.00/vehicle
- Annual renewal: $75.00/vehicle
- Special Exception Residential Parking Permit: $75.00 + $25.00 for each additional vehicle
- Special Exception Parking Permit Renewal: $75.00/vehicle
- Replacement of lost/stolen permanent or visitor permit: $25.00/vehicle
- Special Use - Temporary Permit (one day to two weeks): $5.00/two-week period
- Exempt vehicles: No fee required
Miscellaneous Fees
- Parades: $25.00 (plus reimbursement for labor & fringe benefit costs)
- Assemblages: $50.00 (plus reimbursement for labor & fringe benefit costs)
- Street Closures: $50.00 (covers direct cost for preparation, cleanup, and services during event; applicant deposits estimated fee upfront; unused funds refunded)
- Races/Walkathons:
- Application fee: $25.00–$300.00 depending on intersections protected (1-4: $25; 5-10: $100; 10+: $300)
- Burning Permit - Clearing & Grubbing: $150.00
- Outdoor Furnace Application: $75.00
- Fireworks Permit: $50 per event or $100 per year

Monday thru Friday
- All day rental: Resident $35.00 / Non-Resident $70.00
- Half day (daylight - 3:00 p.m.): Resident $25.00 / Non-Resident $50.00
- Twilight (4:00 p.m. - dusk): Resident $25.00 / Non-Resident $50.00 Saturday, Sunday & Holidays (all day)
- All day rental: Resident $50.00 / Non-Resident $100.00
- Tent/Canopy Site: Resident $50.00 / Non-Resident $100.00
- Cancellations: Full refund if cancelled 15 days prior to event
- Security Deposit: $100.00 (refunded if no damage)
Performance Pavilion
- 4 hour minimum - 8 hour maximum: Resident $50.00/hour / Non-Resident $75.00/hour
- Clean up Deposit: $100.00 (refunded if cleaned & no damage)
Shade Trees
- Tree Trimming Permit: No Charge
- Tree Removal Permit: No Charge
