Borough Council Special Meeting Minutes — December 30, 2024 Meeting Details: Date & Time: Monday, December 30, 2024 at 5:00 PM Location: Council Chambers Presiding Officer: President Burke Attendance A quorum was present: Council Members: Sean Burke (President), Brady Leahey, Jeffrey Ketner, Clay Gingrich, Walter Kalista III, William Kitt Absent: Councilman David Jacobs Also Present: Borough Manager Ethan Imhoff, Public Works Director Amy Hazlett Opening Procedures Meeting called to order at 5:00 p. m. by President Burke. Pledge of Allegiance led by President Burke, followed by a moment of silence. No public comments were offered. Resolution 2024-47: Awarding Contracts for Public Works Garage Project Purpose: To award contracts for the Borough of Hollidaysburg Public Works Garage Project using funds from the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). Background: Bids were received on December 27, 2024. The lowest bids recommended by Borough Staff and the Borough Engineer were approved. Contract Awards: Contract Type Contractor Bid Amount General Contract Prough’s Masonry $351,150. 00 Plumbing Contract Montgomery Brothers $44,800. 00 Mechanical Contract Hranec Sheet Metal $84,000. 00 Electrical Contract MH Electric $47,700. 00 Total $527,650. 00 Motion and Vote Councilman Kalista moved to approve Resolution 2024-47. Seconded by Councilman Leahey. Vote: 6–0 in favor (all present council members voted yes). Adjournment Meeting adjourned at 5:07 PM by President Burke. All bids were competitively sourced and reviewed by borough staff and engineering consultants before approval.
