Borough of Duncansville Council Meeting Agenda Date: January 12th, 2026 Location: 315 14th Street, Duncansville, PA Pre-Meeting and Call to Order Pre-Meeting: Mayor Eric Fritz will swear in newly elected council members. Call to Order & Pledge: Conducted by Mayor Eric Fritz. Roll Call: Annette Lewis, Jeffrey Lynn, Cindy Blontz, Nicole Estep, Dave Shaw, Eric Fritz, Rodney Estep, and Michael Emerick. Tab 1: Nominations for Offices The Mayor will conduct nominations for the following positions. For each, a motion/second is required after nominations close: President: Mayor Fritz will turn the gavel over to the new President of Council. Vice President President Pro Tem Auditor: Nominated by the Borough Auditor. Vacancy Board Chair Borough Secretary/Treasurer Open Records Officer Tab 2: Solicitor Nominations for Borough Solicitor. Tab 3: Engineers and Meeting Dates Borough Engineer: Nominations for Borough Engineer. Bridge Engineer: Nominations for the Engineer for Bridge Projects. Meeting Dates (2026): The council will decide on a recurring schedule. Options include the 2nd Monday, 2nd Wednesday, 2nd Thursday, or 3rd Wednesday of each month. Action: Approve and sign Resolution 1-26-6 and advertise the dates. Tab 5: Meeting Minutes Borough Minutes: Motion to approve minutes from December 8th, 2025. DMA Minutes: Motion to approve minutes from December 4th, 2025. Tab 6: Visitors Jessica Foley: Tax Collector Reports. Tab 7: Administrative and Financial Reports Financial Reports: Includes Financial Report, Profit & Loss, Budget, and Finance committee comment/questions. Finance: Motion to approve and sign the pickup truck resolution (1-26-2). Motion to approve final payment of $35,000. 00 to Tom Levine. Personnel: Discussion and vote on a new pension plan for Uniform & Non-Uniform staff. Motions to advertise ordinances for non-uniform and uniform pension plans.
