Borough of Duncansville Council Meeting Agenda Date: February 10th, 2025 Opening Procedures Call to Order & Pledge of Allegiance Roll Call: Annette Lewis, Jeffrey Lynn, Cindy Blontz, Nicole Estep, Dave Shaw, and Eric Fritz. Tab 1 & 2: Meeting Minutes Tab 1: Motion to approve the meeting minutes from the January 16th, 2025 meeting. Tab 2: Motion to approve the Water & Sewer minutes from the January 9th, 2025 meeting. Tab 3: Visitors & Permits Visitor: David Fritz. Road Closure Permit: Approval requested for David Fritz to obtain a PennDOT road closure permit for 3rd Ave on April 12, 2025. Street Closure: Approval requested for David Fritz to proceed with closing a street/Ave on April 12, 2025 (specific street name to be filled in). Tab 4: Administrative Report Topics include the Borough Newsletter, Financial Report, Profit & Loss statement, 2025 Budget, and Codification. Tab 5: Mayor’s Report Includes the Police report. Tab 6: Manager’s Report Discussion regarding a New Hire. Tab 7 & 8: Legal & Engineering Tab 7: Solicitor report. Tab 8: Engineer report. Tab 9: Committees & Community Events Committee Reports: Building & Grounds, Finance, Fire Company, Parks and Recreation, Personnel, Street & Equipment. Water & Sewer: Approval of the Water & Sewer Report. Duncansville Community Events: Bingo Night: Next event is March 13th, continuing as the 2nd Thursday of every month. Boy Scout Troop 31: The troop will meet at the Duncansville Lutheran church building on Thursdays due to conflicts in the Municipal Complex. Financial Motion: A motion is needed to move funds ($2,091. 68) from account #7390 (Childrens Christmas) to account 5773 (Community Days).
