" In 1855, the western section was split off to create Taylor Township. The township is home to the Altoona-Blair County Airport (built 1938). Martinsburg Borough: Population (2014): 1,958. History: Marks its sesquicentennial (150th) year in 1982. It is the oldest continuously incorporated borough in Blair County.
