Minutes Approval
- Approval of the minutes from the previous meeting held on April 13, 2026.
Pool Renovations
- Project: Altoona Prospect Pool Swimming Pool Renovations.
- Contractor: Main Line Commercial Pools, LLC (King of Prussia, PA).
- Amount: $3,657,750. 00.
Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Amendments
- The council will amend the 2021, 2024, and 2025 CDBG programs to transfer funds to the newly created Green Avenue/11th Street Towers Sidewalk Project.
- Funds Transferred:
- $59,455. 63 from the completed Pleasant Village Lighting Project.
- $223,314. 72 from the delayed Pleasant Village Roofing Project.
- $10,000. 00 from the cancelled Railroaders Memorial Museum – ALTO Tower Project.
Demolition Bids The council will award demolition bids to G&R Excavating & Demolition (Tyrone, PA) for the following properties, payable from the City of Altoona All Together Altoona Fund:
- 101 E. Walnut Avenue: $19,262. 00
- 118 6th Avenue: $14,158. 20
- 1518 4th Street: $24,882. 00
Repository Bids
- Jonathan Wolf (Pyramid Healthcare): Approval of a bid for property at 810 6th Avenue.
- Olupheso Holdings, LLC: Approval of repository bids for multiple properties in Altoona, including addresses on 3rd Avenue, 13th Aly, 4th Avenue, 16th Avenue, N 6th Avenue, 17th Avenue, E. Willow Avenue, 2nd Avenue, and 1st Avenue.
