Hollidaysburg Sewer Authority Meeting Minutes (October 9, 2023) The Hollidaysburg Sewer Authority held its regular meeting on October 9, 2023, at 5:00 PM in the Borough Council Chambers. Chairman Regis Nale presided over the session. Attendees Present: James Burke, James Fitch, Carol Gale, Randall Manning Also Present: Frank Hicks, Jr. (Director of Wastewater Operations), Jessica Oswald (Recording Secretary) Absent: Borough Manager James Gehret Meeting Proceedings Opening & Approval of Minutes The meeting began with the Pledge of Allegiance. A motion to accept the September 11, 2023 meeting minutes was made by Mr. Manning and seconded by Mr. Fitch — passed unanimously. Reports Engineer’s Report: No additional items to add to the agenda. Treasurer’s Report: No additional items to add to the agenda. Management Report: Manager’s report was included in the agenda packet for review. Discussion occurred regarding a draft resident notification letter for Phase III area residents. Public Comments & Petitions No public comments were received. Unfinished Business None to discuss. New Business Resolution S-2023-10A Topic: Request from 421 Wayne Street to deduct sewer charges due to usage exceeding normal amount. Action: Motion by Mr. Fitch, seconded by Mr. Burke — to deny the request. Passed unanimously. Resolution S-2023-10B Topic: Request from 210 Hollidaysburg Plaza to deduct sewer charges due to usage exceeding normal amount. Action: Motion by Mr. Burke, seconded by Mr. Manning — to deny the request. Passed unanimously. Requests for Payment and Requisitions (Resolution S-2023-10C) Approved payments totaling $992,054. 74: Hollidaysburg Area Sewer Authority: $183,155. 79 Paid Invoices: $808,888. 95 Jessica Oswald, Recording Secretary (reimbursement): $50. 00 Motion made by Mr. Burke, seconded by Mr. Fitch — passed unanimously.
