Hollidaysburg Sewer Authority Meeting Summary Date: May 9, 2022 Time: 5:00 PM – 5:19 PM Location: Borough Council Chambers, Hollidaysburg, PA Chairman: Regis Nale Recording Secretary: Jessica Oswald Attendees Authority Members Present: James Burke, James Fitch, Carol Gale, Ralph Miller Also in Attendance: Frank Hicks, Jr. , Director of Wastewater Operations Jim Gehret, Borough Manager Jessica Oswald, Recording Secretary Meeting Highlights Opening & Pledge Meeting called to order at 5:00 PM by Chairman Regis Nale. Pledge of Allegiance led the meeting. Minutes Approval Motion to accept April 11, 2022 minutes made by Mr. Fitch, seconded by Ms. Gale — passed unanimously. Reports Engineer’s Report: Nothing to report. Treasurer’s Report (Mr. Gehret): No additional info beyond agenda packet. Management Report (Mr. Hicks): Nothing additional; report was in agenda packet for review. Public Comments & Petitions No public comments received. Unfinished Business None to discuss. New Business None to discuss. Requests for Payment and Requisitions Resolution S-2022-5A: Approved payments as follows: Hollidaysburg Area Sewer Authority: $238,668. 89 Paid Invoices: $527,343. 03 Jessica Oswald, Recording Secretary: $50. 00 Motion made by Mr. Miller, seconded by Mr. Burke — passed unanimously with no objections. Additional Discussion Topics Plan to provide sewer service for Berwind Houses. Non-compliant properties from first two phases of sewer lateral project. Legal research status on basement drains in 100-year floodplains. Engineering start for Clark Street Phase III project. Request for adjustment included in correspondence — shared for awareness while Water Authority reviews it. Correspondence All correspondence included with agenda for Authority review.
