Overview This document is an application form for the City of Altoona, PA, used to register alarm systems and purchase a permit. Permit Fee: The cost is $45. 00. Submission: Completed applications and fees (checks or money orders payable to "City of Altoona") must be submitted to the Finance Department at 1301 12th Street, Suite 104, Altoona, PA 16601. Penalties: Failure to submit a completed application and fee may result in a non-traffic citation under City Ordinance 4990, punishable by a fine up to $100 and/or up to ten (10) days in prison.
