HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Altoona is a nationally recognized 80-bed inpatient hospital specializing in the treatment of Stroke, Brain Injury and Spinal Cord Injury diagnoses along with several other inpatient rehabilitation programs. Additionally, the hospital operates seven outpatient therapy clinics specializing in Physical, Occupational and Speech therapies. HealthSouth Altoona was the 1st Rehab. JCAHO Disease Specific Certified in Stroke, Brain Injury and Spinal Cord Injury. 2010 we were again certified and an additional Cardiac Certification.
