Altoona Pipe and Steel Supply Company includes a Steel Service Center with national distribution, a Railcar Repair Facility and a Structural Steel Fabrication division. The Steel Service Center distributes steel plates, steel sheets, structural shapes (angles, channel, rebar, flats, squares and rounds). Our services include a High Definition Plasma Torch Burning Machine, bending, cutting, grinding, shearing and punching. The Structural Steel Fabrication Division provides a full range in the structural steel and miscellaneous metal field of construction. We are AISC CERTIFIED and our work includes the full scale fabrication of structural steel ranging from buildings and bridges to handrails and ladders. The Railcar Repair Division, which is AAR - M -1003 CERTIFIED, inspects, repairs and rebuilds railcars and freight cars. We combine equipment and expertise to provide the highest possible quality railcar services.
